You're correct. It's Machine Doubling, the the devices are reduced in size, and it's shelflike in appearance.

The areas that grab your eye are all areas that are reduced in size, flat not contoured, all the same color because they are flat and pushed inwards. Like someone pushing new snow with a snow plow. The metal raises there.
