Good day. I threw this coin on the spend pile 3 times and finally took some pics of the mark extending rim to rim. Parts of it look cudish and parts look like a piece of wire strike through. What do you folks think? Thanks Rich

Looks like a scratch. Post strike damage.

Are you sure its not just a scratch? because those images give the impression its just a scratch on the coin

Notice how the metal looks "pushed" out of the way to form ridges ?
Notice the 'line' is dug below the coin's natural surface ?
You have a scratch.

Die cracks, die breaks and die scratches leave a raised line with no valleys.
