I've always loved these coins....

The flat feather detail at the eagle's shoulder and along its left leg is evidence of wear. The obverse strike seems exceptionally sharp, with little evident wear, but the reverse wear is pretty noticeable. I'd call it AU-53.

close. ngc called it 58. and if I was looking at the pic I would think 55, but the fields left untouched. It doesn't really look like this coin was ever handled, more like it was pushed around in a drawer... I have one of those that look like solid 66 yet a discoloration to the shoulder made ngc give it only 62. Bummer...
at 66 is $24K coin (according to pcgs anyways) at 62 is just a fraction 1K
