I found this 1996 P LMC while roll searching. I have never seen one like it posted about nor have I seen one in hand until today. What strikes me the most is some of the letters of IN GOD WE TRUST are bent or have trails or bent trails. You can even see the to part of WE on the rim itself. DD I am sure is some of the culprit but what caused the bend in some of the trails or the bend in you and of the last T in trust?

The ring on the coin is called a Ridge Ring. They appear on the 80's zincoln cents. The lines that extend from the tops of the devices are called die flow/wear lines that reach for the rim of the coin. They die that struck your coin is showing it age when they look like that. SO you have and example of VLDS. The flow lines are visible, but not as strong as the die wear lines. A coin you might like to save to show to new collectors what a VLDS (Very-Late-Die-State) coin would look like. No premium. Just a coin to know what happened to it during the strike.

Yes sir Mr. Coop. First ridged cent I've seen that late in the 90's. I've seen a ton of them from the 80's.
