1965-Dime-With-Lines-Around-The-Edge

Im curious about the lines on the 1965 dime. Could I please get some help as to where they came from or how they got there? Thank you for your help.

those are die flow lines. as the die wears, metal flows in an outward direction towards the edge of the die, which presents as radial lines. This effect is usually visible in the fields first because it's the dies' first(and strongest) point of contact to the coin.

That's heavy Die Deterioration with heavy die flow lines.
