I have a few old European coins and a relative who collects trade beads, but HB tokens are far from my specialty.I found below tokens at a small town antique mall, and would like your input if they are old or reproductions, and what a fair value (for old or for a reproduction) might be.
Thank you!

@Frieda, first welcome to CCF. Second, while this is way outside of my area of expertise, I see that there are multiple previous threads on CCF talking about Hudson Bay tokens. If you use the search box in the upper left hand corner of your screen with the keywords HUDSON BAY TOKEN, you will find them. I'm sure that someone will be on at some point to help answer your questions, but these prior threads may help you as well.

Hi frieda,

North west company tokens are very rare and valuble, since they were only in existance very briefly. more information can be found here: http://www.coinsandcanada.com/token...-1820&id=201

Unfortunately they are also only known in brass so this is not an original piece ... but it's still nice. What it's worth is really up to you but if it's an Electrotype reproduction I'd probably pay $50+ but only because I like tokens.

The HB tag looks like like a fur bale tag rather than a token. These were used to mark the packages of fur as HB property during shipping. They're neat and uncommon but not outragously rare. That one looks similar to this one that sold for $150 US (but was in better condition)

The North West Company token is known in both brass and copper, with brass being the commoner, likely on about a five or six to one ratio. Virtually all (but at least two) of these tokens are holed, with one each of copper and brass being unholed, as seen in the Heritage Auction of the Doug Robins collection earlier this year.

Fair enough but to my knowledge no silver or pewter examples are known.
