Hey guys, I am having problems with the ink bleeding when I mark my flips, thus making them ugly, does anybody on here have a recommendation for a pen where the ink doesn't bleed.
TIA

You're talking regular white cardboard 2x2 flips? I use a regular ballpoint pen with no problems. Show us a picture of your problem.

Ballpoints tend to smear at first. I've been using the Sharpie brand fine tip markers without too much trouble, just let ink dry(soak in) before touching/moving. I just found this one, it it a retractable tip, like a standard pocket pen, works great, real fine even print. Got it at Wallyworld.

Ultra fine tip fiber pen is best for cardboard 2x2's.
My hand writing is atrocious, but when the notation sometimes has to be made with tiny lettering, the fine tip fiber pen gives you more control, and always writes nicely on the surface, when sometimes a ball pen will not.

Use a pencil. Easy to erase.

Pencil is good if you wish to re cycle 2x2's.
Permanent OK if you don't mind throwing old 2x2's out.
Over the years, I have done both.

I use any nice black pen and set it aside for at least five minutes before stapling. That way I don't smear the ink.

Sorry, wish I saw your post before I threw them out. and Yes, I am talking the 2 x 2 cardboard flips

Thanks to everyone for the recommendations. I'll have to see if I can find one in this town, otherwise it'll have to wait for the next trip to the big city.

As an alternative, you might want to consider a label maker depending on the neatness of your handwriting.
