1961 Doubled Die Obverse / DDO Lincoln Memorial Cent / LMC Question.

Double Mint Pillar of the Community United States 810 Posts	Posted 07/02/2008 9:31 pm I think I found a 1961 DDO. I see doubling in the date and some of the letters. I was hoping someone could show me an example of one. Report this Post to the Staff

It is safe to say that a fair number of times, a coin suspected of being a die variety is not. rockdude Pillar of the Community United States 1807 Posts	Posted 07/04/2008 6:50 pm It looks like you are taking the shot from outside (reflection of trees in shot). Try taking a flashlight and shine the light across the coin and cast a shadow on the doubled number. Report this Post to the Staff
