It is the teens, 1913, 1918, 1919...suspect 1918. Do you see the VDB under the bust where it is normally found? If you do, it ain't the 1913...no initials til 1918. That's about the only way to tell now, just worn too much.

It's unfortunately too worn to read the date.

If a time capsule were available to confirm the date, my bet would be for 1918. But I'm still on my first cup of coffee, so maybe only a small bet

Even if it's from 1918, it would still be not worth too much, do to its condition. Still a cool find though.

That's in bad shape,, but my ninja vision sees the 2 post holes in the loops making it a 1918.

When I saw the weakness of the date/mint mark area. I wondered 1911-D As the mint mark area was weak on that year. (First year for Denver mint cents)

Not sure of the match or not. But that date came to mind. You might check to see if you can see the 'D' on your coin better? Guess the grade of the upper right image? __MS-65__ Message hidden in the blank space. high lite that area.

That's a beautiful overlay sir. I'm still convinced it's an 18. The ovearlay actually makes it deceiving or was that a test lol ;)

Here's the VDB on a 1918 Lincoln Cent: And here's the same view of the mystery coin (with the best enhancements I can give the original photo):
