Came across this coin and would like to get some information on why the letter are white or seem to be faded away. All info is appreciated !

Often the cause is from a filled die with grease. But on that area the Bust is forming on the other side and the strikes on the reverse are often weaker because of all the metal movement on the obverse.

It's a very common problem on the reverse side. It happens a lot. There's no premium over face value for this.
