This will be a very interesting and good thread. I don't have any errors or varieties on halfs, because I don't have any.
Errers and Varietys.

How about some weird pink toning? I do not think I have this one anymore, but it was toning and lustrous although the pic makes it look like stain.

Here is the first 1974-D I found back in 2012. My camera skill have not improved much since then! I forgot the name of this next error. The next is LDS and,I believe, Struck Through Grease although the pic makes it look liek a hammer orsomething was taken to it. However, the REV shows no sign of the front being hit. More to come...

Bought a bag of mostly off center coins at an auction. This was one of 17 Kennedy halves in the bag. I sell one off now and again and still have the one I slabbed for my collection and 5 more that I'll eventually put on ebay. Brings in some extra money for buying more Lincolns.

I kinda always wondered how these things get out into the public. You think mint employees grab them? Or they actually get through the system and into bags? I can't see them making it into rolls! Again, very nice pickups!

A little while ago I bought a very nice set of 1964 proof accent hair Kennedy halves. Got a good deal and really went for it as two of them are quadruple die (DDR-003/WDDR-003) FS-802. The QDRs are out getting graded right now but here is one of the regular accent hair coins. Any flaw you see in the photo is probably on the holder as this is a really sharp coin.

@tropicalbats PM sent Hoping to get my halves out and take more pics soon so I can post more here. For now... Daniel Carr made a Fantasy issue overstrike for the year of the actual Assassination of JFK. In 1963, this would have been 90% silver...so he Daniel Carr made it that way (he takes better pics than I do - so I used his and just framed/labeled them): He also made a 1963-D, which is the only one I do not own. 1975 was bittersweet for me b/c I was anxiously awaiting the new Bicentennial designs, but knew this meant no 1975 halves would exist. I actually used to dream of finding them. So Mr. Carr helped my dream come true - along with making some Bicentennial 1975s...of course I had to have them all . 1975-P Bicentennial in clad and 40% 1975 P&D in clad 1975 S in 40% silver (S coins were always proofs back then - so why not silver?) Not sure why, but a 1975_P in 40% was also made.

Years ago when silver was cheaper , my local coin shop would dump unc 64 rolls into his silver bin . I was more than happy to pick out the good stuff. These RPM's and quite a few doubled dies were found in multiples. FS-501 , 502 and 503
