Hello and welcome.

Your coin is from the British East India Company's Bengal Presidency, a territory comprising modern-day Bangladesh and much of northern and central India. The coin bears a date "Year 34 of the Mughal Emperor Shah Alam II", which would correlate to AD 1795, but the British East India Company was notorious for putting incorrect or "fixed dates" on their coins, so we don't really know the exact year it was struck, other than "sometime between 1795 and 1837".
The Bengal Presidency struck 1/2 pice, 1 pice and 2 pice coins, all with very similar designs. I believe the 1 pice is most common and I think
this one is yours.
Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis
