I've been searching through dollar rolls over the past few months and found this unusual Washington dollar. The obverse is a darker, reddish color, but the reverse is just like new. When this coin is dropped on a surface, it has a metallic sound, akin to copper. When a normal one is dropped, it has that lighter sound, which drowns out the sound. On the obverse, at about 3 o'clock, the raised part of the rim pushes inward a little. There is also weakness on some of the lettering. On the rim, the letters and especially the date are trimmed off at the tops. The P looks like "|-" and the 2 is like "/_" pretty much. (Sorry for the crude 'drawings' but that's the best way to describe it.)
