I know these are all supposed to be doubled die because of the master hub and there is no premium. My question is how many of the signs of DD you can see on this coin. I'm curious to find out how much I am missing as a rank novice. I think I see some of them, but am not sure about some.

The wider devices on LIBERTY and the motto is caused from a Struck Through Grease issue. The die was probably wiped down with a cloth. Spreading the grease towards the rim. Make the devices near the edge of the die fill more than in the center of the die.

Here is the Wexler listing.

And here are a couple of the Wexler illustrations that accompany that listing.

I didn't see the LIB doubling on the coin in question but thought there might be something in the IGWT.

After looking at Wexler's illustrations again and a few other 1968 dimes, I'm ready to conclude about those dimes that even though Wexler says that all 1968 " Roosevelt dimes have this doubling," that the one I photographed (and all I've looked at) is either of a hub state or die state or state of wear that does not show the doubling. I thought they were in decent condition and I'd be able to find something resembling his illustrations. I was wrong again.

Thanks for your help.
