dave700x Rest in Peace United States 10625 Posts	Posted 07/26/2018 12:37 pm I'm working on plugging some holes in the Large Cent album I picked up last year, a Library of Coins volume 2 that by the way has too many varieties in it. I haven't bought a Large Cent since probably 2007 and I was shocked at how many crappy examples there are for sale and also how much the decent examples are selling for. I wish I would have picked up more 10 years ago.... Report this Post to the Staff

Anything VF or EF without some kind of damage is almost impossible to find and when you do, price is double or triple what Greysheet reflects. Retail price guides do not reflect nice coins, only average damage prone pieces. Now I find the TPG's are giving a pass to many coins with environmental damage.
