I think it is well within the fine range. It would be a push for a VF.

Does anyone see this as a "details" coin, environmental damage? Looks like it was buried for many years.

I did, but I had already details your other two Large Cents so I left this one alone...Not sure why but I was thinking mayyybee you bought these. Should have known better...

Dave, this is another one I did not buy. I feel it is to far gone to save. I really believe this should have been in a "details" slab.

I'm working on plugging some holes in the Large Cent album I picked up last year, a Library of Coins volume 2 that by the way has too many varieties in it. I haven't bought a Large Cent since probably 2007 and I was shocked at how many crappy examples there are for sale and also how much the decent examples are selling for. I wish I would have picked up more 10 years ago....

Dave, I feel your pain. Anything VF or EF without some kind of damage is almost impossible to find and when you do, price is double or triple what Greysheet reflects. Retail price guides do not reflect nice coins, only average damage prone pieces. Now I find the TPG's are giving a pass to many coins with environmental damage. The standards just keep dropping while prices climb.
