Look through all the pics it make me little bit confuse cause I see some notches. The Mint mark look like DD to me, but very nice even if it is MD

Bate, those aren't notches. That's Machine Doubling on the devices. It also displays Die Deterioration Doubling as well. Not a Doubled Die Obverse. http://www.error-ref.com/machine-doubling/ http://www.error-ref.com/die-deteri...on-doubling/

yes it does. Look at the "D' the bottom and top serif. The "G" got it too. The "I" and "N" top serif. I wonder that when you give a comment too fast did you look through all the pics closely or just because your experiences so you just look at the first pic E-n-V. You said the MD will make device smaller but in this case I see it bigger. I know it MD but I want to know why that notches is there also. Thanks E-n-V

The first time I looked, I looked at all of them thoroughly. It's not a Doubled Die Obverse.

If you look at these pictures from varietyvista.com, this is a genuine Doubled Die, because it shows a strong spread of the devices, and there's an increase in size. This was done in the die making process. There was a mistake in the hubbing process, because of the die moving out of position when the hubbing was in process. Your example shows Machine Doubling and Die Deterioration Doubling, which was caused by the strike, not by the hubbing process. I hope this helps

Also if it were Die Deterioration the affected area would be on what side of the devices?
__ The side facing the rim. __ Hidden answer.
Just scroll over the area between the underlines.

I know how you did it. You used white font color, instead of black.
