I recently found a 1961 penny that has a silverish coating on it. It has some copper showing through on the back and it also sticks to a magnet slightly. I was wondering if it is worth anything, and if so how much?

The cent as you have decribed it has most certianly been plated post mint, Being an altered cent it has no value above that of a normal cent .

I concur completely with Rick.

I would add by saying that it could well be plated with mercury and could be at least somewhat dangerous to you.
