I went to my first coin show a few weeks ago. I stuck to the bargain bin for most purchases. I learned my lesson about that. Today I went to a coin shop. I am hoping I did better this time. Please review and tell me what you think. The dime may appear extra shiny, but I took the pictures outside for the best possible light. The back of the dime the image uploader would not allow me to crop. My goal was to buy the best quality coins my budget would allow...which was the advice I was given on this forum. :)

Just a FYI: when ever possible, remove from what ever holder it is in before taking pics. What did you pay for them? They both look nice.

Both look very nice. I do agree with T-BOP on the IHC but only a couple of dollars. Congrats on making it to your first coin show, they are a rush to attend.

Decent buys. Remember to look for the clarity of the Middle band on the reverse side of the Mercury dime.

I think you overpaid and should just send them to instead of living with the daily reminder that you paid too much for them

Just kidding! Nice coins
