So I've had these sitting in a drawer for 20+ years given to me prior to my great great aunt dying at around age 105. I forgot I had these and just stumbled upon them. She told me to take care of them but looking at them, they are in rough condition I would say based on age.. I know nothing about coins and have no interest in theme. Would much rather a collector who would appreciate them have them, but want to make sure there isn't anything rare or unusual here. I know they're not all US coins so pardon that but why're all together. Thank you in advance for any help. *** Private information removed by Staff. Sorry, but most members here are going to be wary of clicking links. There is a way to load pictures to the site.

Didn't even think of that. Let me try to figure out how to upload using them on my phone. I tried and it told me I was over the max size. They upload super large off iPhones.

Looks like nothing with any value IMO. I'm not an expert on foreign coins but I do have many of those that I have accumulated over the years, either given to me or found.

Again, I apologize for and pics and this request. I know nothing about coins but figured someone might be able to help. I would be looking to sell any or all to any buyer if they're any value to these.

First of all A few things - please read the rules, you can't sell anything here yet, as you don't have the time or the posts to do so. Also, except for what appears to be a street car token, your pics are too small to see what they are, (date/denomination) etc. Pics like the token would help. It would also help if you posted what country your great aunt is from... it would narrow it down a bit. Everyone here is willing to help, but you have to give us something to work with... Thanks

Thanks, I appreciate the welcome. I love reading forums from the other hobbies I am in so I am excited to join this forum and hopefully learn more about coins. I'm one of those once I'm started I get hooked.
Good question on where she lived prior to the US. I will find out.
I tried posting larger photos but they got rejected for size. I'll work on it and figure it out.
Again, thank you all for any help. I would love for any of these coins to go to a good home once I am able to sell on here and give what money comes if these coins to my boys for vacation spending money.

In looking through this forum and searching pictures I don't think anything is worth much based on the poor conditions and just not sought after coins. This forum has been a great help!

From what I see, those are common French coins (holed) as are the coppers, Centimes is like cents to US. The older ones, 1910 and earlier may be worth a buck or two, the others, $.50. The US coins, a 1943 steel cent in good shape, some dimes, can't tell if silver or not (pre 1965), the two Susan B Anthony dollars are worth $1.10 each. So nothing spectacular, keep for their sentimental value, your Aunt may have traveled there, been in WW2, or from there.

2nd row from the top far left coin is silver. It is a 5 francs from 1868. Likely worth $20 despite the condition. The rest seem to be common and have little to no value.

Quote: your Aunt may have traveled there, been in WW2, or from there Perhaps they were brought back from WWI by a relative (the great aunt's husband?) as the latest French coin is dated 1918, US soldiers were in France. Agree that these are common coins and mostly worth sentimental value, however, a few of the small denominations look to be in higher grade that make them "collectable," even if not valuable (you can check ebay for the value): - The 5 Centime with the woman's face (it looks like the date is 1910?) is a popular coin, and in nice condtion as best I can tell, and might bring $5 on ebay- likewise for the 1918 25 centimes, which appears to still have some original luster. I am also curious about the mint mark on the 1874 coin (the letter just below the words "10 Centimes.") If it is A, it is a common coin and not sellable in that condition, but the K mint mark (Bordeaux) might be bring a few bucks. The tram token form Nantes (a large French port in Brittany) also dates from World War I https://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/...ect/30059241Perhaps there is a story there of an American GI's arrival or departure through this port or one nearby
