No Date+ 2005 Jefferson Ocean In View

coinee Valued Member United States 113 Posts	Posted 07/29/2018 2:32 pm I found a Jefferson in change the other day that is an Ocean in View and the date, latter parts of "In God We Trust" and the reverse is missing bits of the same area. Is this an error? The rim is intact so could it be an over zealous polishing? For the problem to exist on the obverse and reverse makes me wonder if something else happened? Below are the photos.
