Is this replica bond trying to copy something known or theorized to exist or is it a pure fantasy thing?

I wonder why they use color ink but only on the back.

I'll bite, fake. 100K in 1861 Confederacy, now that by itself is suspect. Way too much cash outlay on any "bill" transaction, your talking two plantation houses, all the outbuildings and other "property" for that figure. A fortune indeed, now as a bond, a formal bank document would have been drawn up.

I'm no expert, but I'm fairly confident the CSA never issued a note in such a high denomination.
