Hello everyone just ran across this and was wondering if anyone could tell me what it is? And how I can tell if it is authentic.

Based on what I can see I suspect your note is a replica. A photo of the back of the note would help.

Genuine Texas notes from this period usually have faded signatures in brown or sepia ink....your note has signatures in strong black ink. The date and serial numbers should be in brown or sepia ink, too....not black ink.

In addition, most Texas notes are cut cancelled and were printed on very thin paper. Your pictured note looks like parchment paper and I see no cancellation cuts.

(Let me say also that #1385 rings a bell as a known replica note if I remember correctly.)
