Pour rain now. Wind went down. When it rain here the common joke is : "12 drops of rain and a hand full of dirt." But it is pouring now. No hail yet. Or tornadoes. (We've don't get them here, usually. The way the weather is in the world today, you just never know....
2 minutes later. Well it stopped pouring. Now lighting and thunder. And probably be given a peppering of hail also. Sirens going on like crazy the last hour.
Is that all?We get one of those every now and then.Like, the night before last. But that's Kansas.I don't think it even brought down any limbs. It's the one's with 80 MPH,and up,that do real damage. Hope You pull through OK anyhow.
Just wait til the geyser come up and blow the manhole covers off! Remember on Glendale Blvd. in west Phoenix, water would shoot 15'-25' out of those for 15 minutes. Water had no where to go back then(1982). Daughtrer was born during one of those, looked out over the city at the lightning until one hit the Hospital and the generators came on once the fire started....what a fiasco that was!
Well it tapered down. Quick. Came in like a Lion, blowing our socks off. Then rained a bunch, then Thundered and Lighting for a while. But the micro bursts blew everything around a bit. But all looked OK in the morning. One neighbor was retrieving their metal shed last night. Garbage pick up today. All the full cans were blown over. But looking sunny today, but my body says it will probably do the same tonight. (monsoon season here)
Under a tornado watch here - S/W suburbs of Chicago... There were a couple sighted in Central Illinois earlier today... It's almost August, not June... Someone tell the weather god to knock it off...
