Nothing listed on CONECA or doubleddie.com for this year. It might be MD?

Not sure if it not being listed or confirmed yet is good or bad. *__* I honestly think I have something with this one. Especially due to the bold sheriffs on the "I,N,G" But, who am I to tell right lol

I can see notching, so it's a Doubled Die Obverse. It's a unlisted one. You can see the notching in "IN GO".

I saw the notching also and figured I better look it up. Nothing. On the Single squeeze dies the doubling is more in the center of the coin. Probably why John has nothing listed past 1992 on Kennedy halves. But get some better images and send them to John Wexler to see what he thinks. Try to cut the glare down. John might see something we are missing. Too much light or glaring light is not good.

It looks promising to me, but I'm not too good with this.

Here is where I am coming from.after getting a copy of James Wiles book The Kennedy half dollar Book, in 1998 I was hooked on Kennedy Die Varieties, and have spent the years since putting together a collection using the CONECA Master Listings as a checklist. I have never been able to see or get a copy of Wexler's complete listings. While working with the CONECA listings (James Wiles) out of the 393 listed Kennedy varieties I have put together all but 19, with 41 new discoveries, and countless new Stage descriptions. So after what I have experienced, I would recommend if you think you have something new send it to Wiles.
Reference to your post.what I see from your photos is MDD on the profile, TRUST, and date, but not sure about what appears to be notching on IN GOD. My experience with looking at photos tells me the doubling on IN GOD would also be MDD, but it would take additional photos with different lighting and angles to show it or an in-hand attribution.

It's definitely worth sending in for attribution.

Notching is on the IN and G.

Definitely send it in for attribution to Dr.James Wiles or John Wexler

Cool information antrox! Thanks! I'll definitely be sending it in. My Friday starts today so it'll be sooner than later!

Quick question: what would you guys estimate value wise for this if it is indeed DDO?

I don't know about value but that if the pictures are really relating what it looks like in person, that is some.oretty significant notching. Def a cool find
