Errers and Varietys Bedrock of the Community United States 76930 Posts	Posted 07/31/2018 01:16 am Yes, the notches are enough to count it as a Doubled Die. It indicates that the die move slightly during the hubbing process, causing a second image of the devices to appear on the coin. That same doubling will be on that die and will strike coins with this doubling, until that die is taken out of service. Although it seems weird, a minor Doubled Die like this could happen. I think you have a Class 2 Distorted Hub Doubled Die. You should send this in to John Wexler, so he can list it for you. (Wexler or Variety Vista) It might be too minor to list, but submit images to Wexler first. Try to show two devices in the image to show him if it is too minor. When we look too close, on just one device, it removes the actual size of the doubling. Report this Post to the Staff
