What Meow has found CRH yesterday. A MD 2011 ATB Quarter. And Meow found another mushy nickel too. The flatness, mushiness, and width of the obverse lettering is just bad.

Dang, Meow thought it might be cool coin. But just litter box fodder......
At least Meow can add to the mushy nickel collection in the Cat hoard.

Nope, the quarter doesn't have Die Deterioration Doubling. The Quarter has incused Machine Doubling. Take a look here. http://goccf.com/t/322998

The 2000 D Nickel shows heavy Die Deterioration.

The MD on the ATB affect about 70% of the coins. Sometimes very minor or others more extreme. But very common. Nickel is a Die wear issue.
