It's already been reported to the counterfeit forum but
our contact at ebay declined to remove it. States it's just damage.

Coins are removed when there is no question at all that they are fake.
This coin may have indeed been counterfeit, but as damaged as it was, it really would have little impact on the hobby. 99% of the coins we report are removed. From time to time, for whatever reason, one gets by. It is not something I get too upset about.
