1989 Kennedy Half Dollar. Is This A Strike Through Error ?

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 08/05/2018 12:17 pm This looks like it might be a glue on the coin issue rather than a Struck Through Grease. Why? Because a Struck Through Grease would either fill the die and prevent the highest points from forming. I'm not seeing that on this coin. Or if it was on fields, any grit in the grease would leave incuse marks or a surface that was dulled. I'm not seeing that with on this coin.
