Came across this coin recently and would like to get some information on what the line on the reverse to the left of the bull's face is.. I have others like this so it will answer many questions for me. Your time is appreciated !

Maybe a stain?

I left it in a solution of soap and water all night and in the morning the mark still remains.. any ideas ?

If it is flat to the surface then I agree just a stain - it is is raised then maybe need to think about it some more. Let us know.

It may have been a stain pre-strike on the planchet? Note it flows over the horn of the bull. But that still would probably not make it worth more.
