Any idea what exactly is going on here? Could be wrong but I'm seeing double images. Even a possible extra mintmark to the EAST of Washington's Head. Also, check out the line running through the neck area. Thanks folks!

That's Environmental Damage. It will return back to it's normal color, once it gets back into circulation.

It most likely was a buried coin/metal detector find.The clad layer has been too far damaged beyond returning!

The coin has environment damage. It was likely a metal detecting in put back into circulation.
