I found this 1980 D LMC that is definitely doubled and I believe this is DDD as is shows movement towards the rim. There is separation and really doesn't show reduction in the devises however the movement towards the rim tells me DDD. IGWT is perfectly normal with NO signs of DDD. There is slight separation in the letter B in LIBERTY. The 0 is misshapen as well. Or, could this be a DDO that was caught early in its run? Thoughts please.

Extreme die wear. On the DDO the devices are enlarged.

Note the spread on the center of the '8'? If it were a DDO, it would be widened there in the centers of the devices, not on the outside edge or inside edge.
On your coin the devices are showing die wear on the right side of the devices from die wear and some slight MD on the left inside edge of the '8' at the top. Also note the '1' on the date and LIBERTY compared with the example I posted. Hope this helps.

Always better with side by side images Jim. I've found one that looked good for about a second.
