Came across this coin and I noticed how it has a silver color to it. Can I get some info on this coin since I have others like this so it will answer many questions.. Thanks for your time.

See the copper color on the edge? The coin was plated poorly with zinc. It is just a normal coin that was plated. Just a face value coin that was never worth anything more.

I think that it either could be plated as @coop says or else the copper plating was mostly stripped off this coin, leaving behind the zinc core. This is an academic question though as your coin is only worth face value.

Looks like Zinc Rot corrosion setting in. The Copper plating broke, causing the Zinc core to get exposed. Worth face value unfortunately, as it's a damaged coin.
