Wait a minute Crazyb0. There are notches on the letters, which indicates it's a Doubled Die Reverse. Errers and Varietys. Crazyb0 Rest in Peace 10197 Posts	Posted 08/09/2018 1:01 pm Just because the device is "notched" doesn't always indicate hub doubling. While it may indicate even a Master Die Doubling, other indicators of a hub event need be present. Here they are none. What gives this away as a product of deterioration is pic 1, the shadow the right leg of the N. It is centered, and looking closely at the tip, see the notch in line of this. Hubbing it isn't, but separation caused by die age/deterioration. It is the strike deformation within the devices, stress pulling things apart. Yes, it "mimics" a DD, but isn't.
