1964 Penny Wire Error?

So I found a penny that has a weird cut through it. I've heard of wire errors but I don't know if this is one of them. It is in fairly decent quality so I don't think this is an environmental thing.

Not a struck through wire as the edges would be smooth.
You can see the raised edges where it has taken some sort of cut.

I'm assuming that it's worth just it's face value then and is common, btw I'm about to make a post cause I think I have the legendary 1965 SMS penny!
