So I've come across a penny that highly represents the 1965 SMS penny which is worth quite a bit, here are the pictures, I will let the experts decide.

Looks like a normal 1965 to me..The SMS really are not worth that much but there is a small premium on them I suppose.

What makes you say that mine isn't a SMS? I've compared them fairly well and they look quite similar

Not an SMS but even if it were, it would be worth around $2.50 in mint condition. Don't forget, there was over 2.3 million minted so they are fairly common.

It is the 1964 SMS that is valuable. The 1965 SMS is very common.

That's a normal Business Strike coin. Not the SMS one.
Errers and Varietys.

Yours is definitely not a SMS coin. Even if it was it would be worth a few bucks.

Ahhh crazybo broke out the stash SMS 67 example in an old green holder. What else you holding out on us crazybo? Seeker in no time you will know the SMS cents in your sleep from the circulation strike coins. Occasionally SMS coins are found in circulation and with wear are still easily attributed. Its the rim that's the dead giveaway followed by clear strong die state. You can buy an SMS set still in the holder for 10-12 bucks on the bay or a coin show compare one in hand to your examples and its night and day. I have a 1966 set I cracked open to show kids the differences, I let them handle them carefully by the rim and move them to and fro under a loop. You will get this down pat just keep learning.
