It's not pretty, in fact it's kind of brutal. Is it a Die Cap?

It looks like a damaged coin to me.I see the remaining devices in WE TRUST clearly, if it was a die cap they would have been blurred out and not readable.
Here is my example of late die state.

Looks like someone was practising with a dremil.
A die cap would not have a raised area in the middle.

That's not a Die Cap. Die Caps don't look like this. This is Post Strike Damage (it happened after it left the U.S. Mint). Here's what a Die Cap actually looks like. http://www.error-ref.com/struck_thr...age_die_cap/

I saw something that coop posted a few months back but it looked similar. I think it was from a an old school change dispenser or something like that. This looks way worse than that example but very similar. Either way it's still PMD
