I see what you are referring to, it is the result of a die fatigue, very worn die affecting the entire devices.

MD on the top of the digits. All are reduced not enlarged.
Nothing listed on CONECA for Doubled die that year.
Nothing listed on Wexler's site either.

ok that is what I thought. Bought it for .90 just to see what it looked like in purpose. I'll put it in a quarter slot machine and try to get my money back. Yean.
