So can't find anything so probably not a problem but I want to ask anyways. So cleaning these coins so is there any diseases or things like that that uncover when you clean these? Is nitrile gloves a must while cleaning? I ask this because I have a 6 year old and 3 year old that loves to do coins with me and me taking on this I will not leave them out of it just need to know if there are special cautions I should take with them. I know probably a dumb question but only dumb question is the one not asked so thank you in advance.
Thank you my daughters are going to love this. I'm going to let them do their own coin a piece. I'm going to let them pick one I'm going to make sure it looks like atleast a bust will show up after cleaning so they will have something on the end.
They will have some like cloth with nitrile coating like kid garden gloves with rubber palms. And definitely washing hands directly after lead only effects you if ingested I believe did a few lead paint jobs when I did environmental jobs
By the way, it's wonderful that your girls are involved. When they grow up to be archaeologists or museum curators, perhaps they'll let you help with some of their coins
I'm going to frame their first coin they clean with pictures around it of them doing it. I think it will be pretty awesome to have and look at when they get older too.
