Does anyone know what is going on with this coin? Lincoln's face almost seems like a stop motion picture.

Need a closer view. It might be a couple of things. Either coin damage or a very weak lamination issue on the coin. Left half of the coin.

Face looks like contact marks on the right half of the coin.

Looks like contact marks (damage) on Lincoln's face. Near "LIBERTY", it looks like a Lamination error, but I can't tell for sure. If you can get a close up of that area, that would be great.

Is his face just damaged? It looks like he has 2 or 3 eyes, mouth and chin.
Not sure if this pic is close enough. It's hard to get a clear close up pic.

Seeing contact trail marks west of lips.

May I suggest you devote some time to learning/reading about what IS and IS NOT a mint error and a hub doubled coin. Try http://www. error-ref. com that will get you in the ball park and away from coins like this that aren't errors, just a normally circulated coin.

I see PMD, not a mint error. Contact mark next to lip and stain near LIBERTY.
