I'm still learning these. This raw note looks good/authentic and perhaps a low uncirculated. Would you agree and at what value?

Thank you

Not a chance. 3 hard folds are obvious. Probably VF at best. Stick with notes that are graded, then you won't have to guess.

Spending over $100 on a note from photos on ebay is somewhat risky. The term "Buying a pig in a poke" comes to mind. The note being auctioned is clearly not an uncirculated note. I recently sold my VF Black Eagle and upgraded to an AU (58EPQ) example. There are literally hundreds, if not thousands of this currency design to choose from. If you're unable to examine the note in person, and/or do not yet feel confident in your grading skills, buy a graded note in your price range. Try to find an example with good eye appeal and original paper.

Thank you all!

I've followed that advise for many years with coins, no need to change when considering paper. Sometimes need a reminder,

Very reliable dealer (check out that 100% rating on 23K sales)). Given his description, I would grade this (from experience with him) at mid to upper VF.

(I realize this party's over).
