I found this 1966 P LMC and haven't yet came across one with this trait. Not sure exactly what this is. Insight please.

Not a Cud, since the Rim is not involved.It most likely is a die chip. good eye!

Thank you, Chase! My initial thought was die chip but all the ones I have seen were attached to a devise.
