Hey Guys. I know the 1968 has allot of Mechanical Doubling going on but I put a BLUE arrow next to a mark in the date that seems suspicious to me. I could be wrong though I am a couple months into coin collecting so I am not sure what I would be seeing here. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

Hi Kyle

The blue arrows are showing Die Deterioration Doubling. The flattened tops of the devices around the rim are just showing damage of a worn out coin.

That's Die Deterioration Doubling, not a Doubled Die Obverse. It's a worn die issue.

The '68 is Machine Doubling. Note how the affected sides are reducing the normal size of those digits.
