Bad pictures, but for 99 cents, I figured I'd toss a bid on this 1905 Indian Head cent, and won it.

Looks like a nice EF to me, shot at AU, even has some luster in hand, nice color; there is a pretty good hit on the shield, and a bit of gunk on the C in CENT that I did not even attempt to remove for fear of what might be underneath it.

Two sets of pictures, different lighting levels.

Thoughts?

Give it a soak in acetone then a light application of Verdi-Care . I wouldn't worry about that gunk on reverse ,if it was mine I would remove it. AU-50/53 4 diamonds. Too bad about reverse hit . But you slayed it for $0.99 .
