I'm going to net this one at F12 overall. obverse is a little stronger but not enough to pull F15 imo

I am in at F12 as well. Do you know the newcomb variety?

I am just spitballing - but will take a stab at N2 or N3 given the way the 2 almost touches the 8. However this is not at all my field so I am making a very rudimentary guess. I look forward to the specialists to chime in.

It's always nice to get a second opinion.

Anyone else have an idea on the Newcomb number? We have N2, 3, and 5. I don't have the book so need help on this one.

Looking at examples at CoinFacts I think Kurrency Ken's ID on N-5 is correct. Same obverse die used on all three numbers but only the 5 has this reverse with the obverse die.

Does it look like there could be a reverse Cud developing above the "ited" in united?
