Hello, I just received a lot of 7 - 1942 Mercury dimes and I was hoping to get some clarification on whether any of these coins are a possible 1942/1 error. I only have like 3x magnification to work with. Also, with my eyes, every coin I have looks like it has doubling! I would like to use separate post for each coin. Any thought on the condition or grade would be greatly appreciated also, This is #1:1942 D dime

We are going to need close ups on the date. You really should get yourself a 14x jewelers loupe, they don't cost all that much.Mean time use the search box, upper left of page.

It doesn't look like an over date ,but really do need larger pics to say for sure .

Novelhunter-
Here are pictures of the two styles of overdates.
Compare your coins against them and you should be able to easily
determine yourself what you have.
This will save you rom having to repost your pictures.

Better close up pics of the date will help.
