Look at the reverse on the 1928.

It's a Type 1?

I threw a bid up on it because it was in nice shape, and then later noticed the reverse. Might be a Magicians coin? But it has the same general toning. Unless the pictures are wrong, but I doubt it.

I'm thinking it might be a crude fake. Looking at this Franklin he has, it's an obvious fake.

I guess I could put in a claim for it being fake, but it's a funny fake...

I'm looking more and more and he clearly knows what he's doing.

It's definitely a fake, funny though!

I agree with you. You're correct. It's a fake coin. I can tell it's fake too.

Drew, please explain what you mean by a type 1? I am not aware of a change in reverse for the 1928's. I think only of the 1913's.

Crazy he is referring to the 1913 type 1 reverse if you look at the reverse it does look like a type 1 1913 reverse.

All you have to do is read his feedback.
Has 10 negatives for selling counterfeits including Buffalos.

(Type 1 was in 1913 only. The mound ran down to the rim)

A Buffalo nickel is a Classic coin, so I moved your post to the appropriate section for the proper attention.

Please review the forum section descriptions, so posts are made in the correct section.
