I have seen similar, some with Washington on one side and Lincoln on the other.
Called Paquet medals. For Anthony C. Paquet & Charles E. Barber emgravers. 19 or 20 mm in diameter and called medalets because of the size.

I think that these were recently reissued, perhaps this one in 1969 and while they peak my interest, I don't know much about what an original is and a reissue . yet.

I do like your medalet. The price was certainly right. Here's a link for one similar to yours.
I think the originals were maybe minted in 1869 the first time. This link is also uncertain.

Now Crazy, you got me lookin and I picked up two 1960's US Mint restrike medals! Not the same as yours tho. LOL

Thank you Crazy! I am now the happy owner of this medalet as it was gifted to me completely out of the blue.
