So, my son and I just started getting penny rolls from the bank to go through and I think I found a rare! I have a 1991 no mint mark double die penny. You can see the doubling on the 99 in the date, actually looking at it you can see the whole date doubled. The Liberty, the LIBER are doubled. I took pics but need help. Haven't found anything on it. Any feedback would be so appreciated!

The second nine may be MD ( Machine Doubling - no value) or possibly Die Deterioration Doubling ( DDD); I see it on the last 1, as well.. LIBERTY looks like Die Deterioration.

By the way, no mint mark means it came from the Philadelphia Mint.

To CCF! This isn't rare, and it's not a Doubled Die etheir. Having no mint mark means it was from the Philadelphia Mint. Anyways, what you have going on here, is heavy Die Deterioration Doubling (no premium)

LcStar -- While it appears you don't have a rare error coin, you do have a great example of DDD as noted by others. Keep it for future comparison purposes.
