Hello Everyone,
I am trying to find out if I should be heartbroken or not. I found a 1995 Wide AM Lincoln Cent. I looked and looked and haven't seen one yet. Well if you don't know already I have got my 11yr old daughter helping me and learning also so she can enjoy doing it with me. I put this coin in a container with other 1995 LMC for me to look at later. Well we took the coins to coinstar to cash in and get more. Came home went to grab the 1995 container and it was empty. She managed to dump it in with the coins we took to coin star. Should I be heartbroken? Here's the pics I took of it as I always do when I see something to look at. It seems to have a Wide AM but a close FG.

That's a Close AM, not a Wide AM. The Close AM is completely normal for that year. http://www.lincolncentresource.com/wideams.html
Errers and Varietys.
Rest in Peace

I was reading somewhere I can't remember where that you can also tell by looking at the "A" in "STATES" something about it being centered and closer to the "T" on the right

I'm almost positive it said if its centered between the first T and the second T then its a Wide AM if its closer to the second T it is a Close AM. Has anyone ever heard this before

Copy this image. It will help you if you save an educational image file for your own quick reference:

It is just a Close AM. Note the 'A' location on this image for both the close and Wide AM's.

Coop...that is exactly what I was looking for thank you so much for that. I knew it existed I just couldnt find it. That's the extra clarification I need with these close and Wide AM coins. Some look like it and some don't and that's a great reference to have. Now I see it is just a Close AM. You are awesome for that.
