Hi, everyone!
Is it the most coveted coin?

What I got is not what every coin collector wants. It's still nice to put the coin in an album as learning material. Our awesome expert will be pleased if he knows I am learning how to distinguish Mechanical Doubling from the real doubled die of the 1969-S.... YES!

Need clear pics, is that supposed to be a DDO? Can't tell.
If so you scored!

Nice coin! It's very shiny, and full of mint luster.

Rest in Peace

If asking is it the 1969S DDO-001, no I can tell through the blur it isn't. New clearer. The IGWT is VISABLY doubled on DDO-001 but there is something on date, most likely MD, but better pix needed.

New pix show MD... Is on both date and MM, there's the key, DDO doesn't effect the MM.

That would be nice, jst1dreamr. I am hoping for the real one, hopefully one day. The spoiler is the MM. It would be nice if the MM doesn't seem to have the doubling (MD). At least it would have given me more time to think if it's real or not. It is fun... coin collecting & learning from the experts

Thanks, Errers & Varietys.
Hi, Crazyb0. You are real good. You can even see through the blurry pics. What is IGWT? Thanks...

You're welcome! The 1969 LMC's were notorious for Machine Doubling for some reason.

Even the doubled dies that year had Machine Doubling. Almost harder to find a normal cent that year.

Extreme Machine Doubling:

This is a normal cent.

The 70% machine doubled examples of the DDO-001, when graded, do not get the grade affected by Machine Doubling. I would never by a variety with MD, but the graders don't reduce the grade.

Big difference even when viewing the whole coin.
